As the ten-year anniversary of my father’s passing approaches, it sparked my curiosity to find out how memory persists through the objects left behind. Using favorite pair of shoes as a primary relic, I examine how personal artifacts hold and narrate intimate history. This an ongoing exploration of memory, legacy, and presence in absence.
